Stanley “Marty” Weghorst, 56 of West Portsmouth, died Friday, January 7, 2022, at his residence. He was born July 11, 1965, in Scioto County to the late Stanley Weghorst and Golda Stone Lawhorn.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Jack Stone and Harrison Stone, 2 sisters; Kathy Litz and Pam Parlin.
Marty is survived by his wife Susie Weghorst, 2 sons; Stanley (Heather) Hatfield and Rickey (Kierstin) Weghorst, a daughter Tiffany Hatfield, 2 brothers; Jeff Weghorst and Greg Weghorst, 8 grandchildren; Christopher Johnson, Tyler Johnson, Jaden Hatfield, Brandon Chafin, Hannah Cook, Maesyn Hatfield, Caesyn Hatfield, and Graesyn Hatfield and a great-grandchild Jackson Johnson.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with interment in Scioto Burial Park. The family asks that donations be made to the funeral home.
