Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies managed to recover two stolen vehicles.
Deputies discovered the first stolen vehicle in an alley near the Scioto Trail just afternoon.
A deputy headed to the vehicle owner’s apartment in Porter Township and gave the owner a ride to retrieve their vehicle. The vehicle was returned to its rightful owner by 1:30 pm.

Deputies recovered another stolen vehicle just after 10 pm. This time, at the Super 8 Motel on US 23. They didn’t locate the man last seen driving it, but officers did take a woman into custody.
Officers couldn’t contact the owner, so they arranged to have the vehicle towed and said they would contact the owner the next day.
