A confused woman caused concern at a Franklin Furnace nursing home. She walked into the place around 3 am, walked around, and then went outside.
When staff approached, she claimed she was there to visit her husband, but staff said there was no one there with the name she provided. The woman then took off.
As soon as the dispatcher got off the phone with the first facility, a second nearby facility called to report the woman had wandered in and appeared confused
Deputies called for an ambulance and followed while the woman was transported to the hospital for treatment. Neither nursing facility wanted to file charges.
Deputies Help Elderly Woman After Fall
A woman contacted 9-1-1 just before 4 am to say that her son dropped her off at the Eagles Hall in New Boston and she couldn’t get home and needed a fireman to come to help her.
Police later learned that an elderly woman had a bad dream and fell out of bed. She lives with her brother, so there were people on the scene to assist her.
Passed Out on Disterdick Lane
Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Green Township after a report of a man passed out against a truck on Disterdick Lane.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a man with an open warrant in nearby Lawrence County.
Lawrence County Deputies met up with SCSO Deputies at the county line to hand over the suspect.
