Suicide Report Gets Wanted Woman Busted
Officers arrested a woman they caught squatting inside an abandoned house on Gallia Street.
The call initially came in as an attempted suicide report, a witness said Jonnelle Clark had a knife and threatened to harm herself.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a man and Clark inside. She denied that she wanted to harm herself but admitted they’d been staying inside the abandoned house without permission.
Officers discovered there was an open warrant on the Clark. They allowed the man, who had health issues, to go down the street to his brother’s home.
Police arrested Jonnelle Clark for criminal trespass and booked her into the Scioto County Jail. Officers arrested her on the same charge in January, March, and August of this year and in November of last year.
