A clerk at the Super 8 on US 23 called 911 after a guest made a strange request.
When officers arrived at the motel, they learned a female guest asked for Narcan and rubber gloves. The clerk worried someone had overdosed and called for help. Officers send for an ambulance.

When they spoke to the guest, she said she’d relapsed earlier in the day but was not currently high. Medics checked her out and said she seemed fine except for high blood pressure.
An officer gave the woman a ride to Portsmouth.
