A suspect crashed his dirt bike into a police car and called an officer a fat f**k after deputies tried to pick him up for violating a protection order.
Officers said they’d been out on a call involving Landon Wheeler the previous week, and there was an open warrant for his arrest. When they got to the scene, a woman told them Wheeler had just taken off on a dirt bike and was likely at a nearby cemetery.
A deputy went to search for the man and heard the bike. After he spotted the bike, the officer blocked the way with his cruiser. Wheeler did not slow down and ended up crashing into the cruiser.
Wheeler ran from the officer, yelling that he had crashed into his motorcycle. He then told the deputy he would sue him unless he forgot about the incident and left him alone. The police car rolled over the bike while the officer was chasing Wheeler, which prompted him to call the deputy “a fat f**k.”
The deputy said the pair exchanged some curse words before Wheeler took off into the woods.
Deputies called in Ohio State Troopers to investigate the crash and impounded the dirt bike.
Later in the day, a man saying his name was Dustin called to say he wanted to pick up the bike.
However, officers thought it was Wheeler and advised him to come into the office and speak to them. He told them he needed to get his leg checked at the hospital.
They told him he couldn’t have the bike back until he came in. At the time of this report, Wheeler remains at large.
