Suspect Pees in Officer’s Car
Just before 8 pm, an officer located a stolen race car on Swauger Valley Road. Police caught up with a suspect who promptly peed in the officer’s vehicle.
The race car’s rightful owner picked it up, and officers took the suspect to jail.
Owner Claims Neighbor Tried to Lure Cows Away
There have been repeated issues with cows running loose on Perry Road and officers were once again dispatched to the scene for a complaint on Friday morning.
The caller said her neighbor’s cows were in her yard. When a deputy arrived on the scene, the cows were gone. A deputy spoke to the animals’ owner, who claimed the neighbor was putting corn out of her property to lure the cows over there.
The deputy said that even if the neighbor were putting corn on her property, she could do what she pleased on her own land and advised the cows’ owner to keep them contained.
