Suspected Druggie Flees Dollar General When Deputy Shows Up

Deputies responded to the Dollar General in Franklin Furnace after a caller said a man had been in the bathroom for 20 minutes and they believed the person was doing drugs.

The employee had a spare key to the bathroom and wanted a deputy to check to see what was happening.

A nearby deputy headed to the scene. However, when the deputy arrived, the man fled the scene in a pickup truck with a Michigan plate.

Officers checked the area but couldn’t locate the man.
