SUV Strikes Structure and Multiple People
Several people on 2nd Street were injured Wednesday afternoon when a GMC SUV struck a building.
A report was received shortly after 3:30 pm indicating that an SUV had struck a building in the 700 block of 2nd Street. The medics were also informed that several people had been hit.
A team of medics from Station 1 and Station 3 as well as EMT Ohio responded to the scene.
According to a medic, the SUV struck a smoking hut located outside the Horizon house, resulting in four ambulances being needed to transport the injured.

Injuries sustained were described as minor by officials.
There is no information regarding who was driving the SUV, what may have caused it to swerve into the hut, or the driver’s medical condition
Medics confirmed that 4 people were transported to SOMC for treatment.
