A SWAT Team was forced to deploy gas after a man barricaded himself inside a home in Otway.
It all started around 4:30 pm on Monday. The man told officers he had weapons with him and was not going to come out of the house.
A SWAT team responded to the scene and used gas to take control of the scene. First responders then transported the man to the hospital.
It was determined that the man should go for psychiatric treatment instead of being taken into custody.
Asleep at the Wheel at the Scioto Ribber
Long wait times at a popular local restaurant were enough to put one couple to sleep. Just after 7:35 pm, a caller reported two people passed out in a red truck at the Scioto Ribber.
However, when officers arrived on the scene, they found a pair who’d fallen asleep while waiting for their table. The restaurant notified them their table was ready while they were speaking to the officer.
