Teen Driver Rescued After Bad Parking Job 

PPD Officers came to the rescue of a teen driver who became trapped in a vehicle after a bad parking job. 

The young driver backed the vehicle into a hill on Ritchie Street, where it became stuck with one wheel off the ground. Officers assisted the driver and called for a tow truck to remove the vehicle, and contacted the driver’s guardian to make sure everyone got home safely.

Man Arrested After 6th Street Crash 

Just after 1:30 am, a caller reported that a vehicle had smashed into one parked car on 6th Street, causing it to slam into another.  

Officers detained a man with an open warrant from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office and took him into custody. Police booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
