Teen Gets Death Threats From Delinquent Boyfriend
A worried mom contacted 911 to report her teen daughter’s ex-boyfriend had made death threats. The mom said she had the voicemails, texts, and video to back up the accusations.
She also said the ex-boyfriend was wearing an ankle monitor and had threatened to cut it off and come to the home. Dispatch advised the mom to keep the door locked.
Deputies met up with Portsmouth PPD to go speak with the boyfriend in Portsmouth.
Late Night Fire Call After Candle-Making Accident
Just after 1 am, dispatch received a fire alarm from a home on Shepherd Fork Road. They were unable to make contact with the resident, and firefighters were sent to the scene.
When firefighters arrived, they requested a deputy. No smoke was showing, but lights and TV were on, and no one came to the door.
The resident finally answered and advised the alarm came from a candle-making accident. There was no fire, and no one was injured.
