Thieves Hit Hospice Center 

Showing just how little consideration crooks have for other human beings, the SOMC Hospice Center contacted PPD at 7:41 am to report a disgusting crime. Someone broke into multiple vehicles belonging to patients’ family members overnight. 

Police took information for a report.  

At 9:40 am, officers responded to Kenroe Street after a caller said that someone stole his diabetes supplies off his porch. Tracking information showed the items were delivered, but the packages were gone. Officers took information for a report. 

Wanted Bike Rider Busted on 18th Street 

At 4:55 am, a caller reported a suspicious man on a bicycle hanging around 18th Street.  

When police arrived on the scene, they learned the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Officers impounded some items for evidence and took the man into custody.  

Strange Man Passes Out on Patio 

At 1:20 pm, a Kendall Avenue caller reported that a strange man was lying on their patio.  

When police arrived on the scene, they took the man into custody and impounded several items he had on his person.  

DUI Bust on 8th Street 

Police responded to 8th and Campbell at 12:35 am for a report of a woman passed out behind the wheel of a silver vehicle.  

Officers took the woman into custody and arranged to have the vehicle towed. Police booked the woman into the Scioto County Jail. 

At 7 am, A Kendall Avenue caller reported a man passed out in a vehicle with front-end damage. When officers arrived on the scene, they took the man into custody on a warrant and arranged to have the vehicle towed.  

Nodding Out at Aldi 

At 6 pm, witnesses reported a woman nodding out at the wheel inside a purple Kia at Aldi. They also reported that there was a child in the car with the woman. 

When officers arrived on the scene, the vehicle was gone. Police searched the area but could not locate the driver.  

Car Campers Kicked Out of Wayne Hills 

Just after 11 am, police headed to Wayne Hills for a complaint of people sleeping in a vehicle. PMHA employees said they believed they were living in a car in the parking lot.  

Officers detained a woman who PMHA previously barred from the property and took her into custody.
