To quote everyone’s mom, “This is why we can’t have nice things.” Officials have been spending a lot of effort and money improving Portsmouth Parks, but some people just don’t appreciate the effort.
Portsmouth officials are asking for help finding a metal park bench that went missing from York Park. The park bench weighs approximately 120 lbs, and similar models cost around $1000.

Last year, the park expanded, adding eight pieces of gym equipment to encourage runners and walkers to stop at the park, take in the river view, and get a little exercise.
