The FBI contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 2 pm to report a disturbing incident. The agency said TikTok had contacted them, saying a child had made threats of self-harm on the social media platform.
The company provided information as to the name of the child and his parents and officers headed to the home to check things out. The boy was there with his parents, and they said he was fine.
Police investigated another scary incident involving kids when Knox County officers got a call from an area landline where kids said, “Mom, they’re shooting at the door again, please come home.”
When officers arrived on the scene, the parents were there. They said the mother had taken the family dog to the vet earlier and left the kids alone for a bit. No shots were fired, and nothing happened as far as anyone knew.
Officers were unsure if the kids got scared and made the call.
