🚨 TODDLER FOUND WANDERING — Woman Arrested, Details Still Unclear

Lost 4-year-old found at local carryout — police make an arrest, but charges remain under wraps

Just after 1 p.m., employees at the Oasis carryout on 17th Street got a shock when a young boy, around 4 years old, showed up all alone and gave his name. Concerned for the child’s safety, staff quickly called 911 and kept an eye on him until police arrived.

Officers responded and took the boy a few blocks away to Thomas Avenue to take his statement. In the process, they arrested a woman connected to the incident.

At this time, police have not released the details of what charges she’s facing, but we’ll be keeping a close eye on court records for updates.
