Tragedy on Dunlap Road

A worried relative made a tragic discovery on Saturday morning when he went to check on a man in his Dunlap Road home.

He discovered that the man had passed away, however, he did not want to take responsibility for the body and call a funeral home.

The coroner’s office advised contacting a township trustee to see who they used for indigent persons. However, officers were unable to make contact with any trustees. 

The coroner assisted in finding a funeral home that was willing to take possession of the deceased until arrangements could be made.
