1. Tragic End To Search For Missing Person
A concerned woman contacted officers to see if they could check on the welfare of her ex-husband. She said she hadn’t been able to contact him for over and month and was concerned.
Officers learned the man had passed away and that his belongings had been given to his best friend. Police broke the sad news to the woman and gave her the phone number of the friend.
2. Stranger Terroizes Rigrish Road Family
A mysterious stranger has been scaring a Rigrish Road family. Last week a woman reported that her daughter spotted a strange man attempting to get in her bedroom window.
Just before 5 pm, the woman reported the man had returned and found hand and footprints outside her daughter’s window and the head of a hammer on the ground. The family feared the man was using the hammer to break in.
Officers took information for a report.
3. Suspicious Character Caught Under Car on Waller Street
A Waller Street caller caught a man with a jack underneath his vehicle at 12:30 pm.
When police arrived on the scene, the man claimed he was just looking for lost items. Officers noted a jack, but did not see any type of cutting tool.
Police told the man not to return to the property for any reason.
4. Man Spotted Staggering Down 8th Street
Just after 8 pm, a caller reported a man wearing a gray shirt staggering down 8th Street. Police were unable to locate the man.
Fifteen minutes later, a witness reported a man on the ground near A1 Auto Glass on 7th Street. An ambulance transported the man to the hospital for treatment.
