Dog Traps Lucasville Woman on Porch

Just after 10:30 am, a man contacted officers to report that an aggressive pit bull had trapped his wife on her porch.

When an officer arrived on the scene, they found the dog to be friendly. However, it had no identifying tags, so they sent for the dog warden. The officer put the dog in the patrol car and met up with the dog warden at Speedway to hand over the dog.

Police were back in the area the next morning for a report that three loose dogs had killed their chickens. Officers contacted the dog warden who took custody of the animals.
