Some folks illegally dumping trash made a major mistake, they left mail with their address on it in the garbage they were trying to get rid of.
Just after 10 am, a Gallia Pike business contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to report the illegal dumping. When deputies investigated they found mail in the garbage with a Caadicot Hill Road address in Pike County.
Security footage provided by the business showed a man and a woman in a gray Dodge Charger and Tan Ford Truck dumping the trash.
Deputies asked Pike County officers to make contact with the pair and inform them not to dump their garbage in Scioto County.
