Troubled Woman Arrested For 40th Time on Aggravated Menacing Charges – Immediately Released

A troubled woman with a long history of arrests landed back behind bars for the 40th time after an incident on Gallia Street.

Officers frequently respond to reposts of altercations and trespassing involving the woman, most of them centered around the area of Gallia and Walnut Streets.

Back in January of last year, PPD Officers spent an entire day trying to assist the woman after they received four calls involving her behavior in less than 24 hours.

This time Naevida Scott was arrested for aggravated menacing and booked into the Scioto County Jail. Per the court, she was immediately released.

Later that day she contacted officers to tell them the fellow she was previously accused of assaulting had returned, and if someone didn’t get there fast, he was going to get hurt again.

Officers responded to the scene and settled a dispute over property allegedly stolen the previous night.
