Police took a man and a woman into custody and charged them with child endangerment after a tot was found wandering the streets along twice in a few days.

The first incident happened on October 5th when a neighbor spotted a toddler alone on Hutchins Street. Officers spent hours searching for the parents before locating them on Hutchins Street. PPD called in CPS, but no charges were made at the time.

However, the same toddler was found wandering the streets again on the following Monday. CPS was called in to investigate once more.

On Thursday, police and CPS were once again at the Hutchins Street home with a warrant from Judge Steven L. Mowery in hand. They took Jennifer and Benjamin Walsh into custody on misdemeanor charges of child endangerment.
