A call about a woman with open warrants led Portsmouth police to two arrests at the Four Keys Inn on Scioto Trail.
Officers responded to the motel late Sunday night after a caller reported that a woman with active warrants was inside one of the rooms.
When police arrived, they detained two women.
According to the log, officers confirmed open warrants for one woman through Portsmouth police and later confirmed another warrant through the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Police arrested Kendra Bauer on two open warrants for failure to appear.
Officers also arrested Erika Bradford. She was booked into the Scioto County Jail on a drug possession charge.
Police said Miranda rights were read during the investigation.
Both women were taken into custody, and officers took information for reports on the arrests.
The charges are allegations. Both women are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
