Vanada “Joan” (Nee Wiseman) Stambaugh, 59 years of age, of Portsmouth, OH, passed away suddenly at Southern Ohio Medical Center while recovering from a recent surgery.
She was born to the late James Wiseman and Patricia (Nee Hawkins) Wiseman on September 15, 1965 in Huntington, West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Stambaugh; and two brothers, David and Robert Wiseman.
Joan is survived by her daughter, Rachel Huffman; step-daughter, Riann Stambaugh; step-son, Jonothan Stambaugh; brother, James Wiseman, Jr.; aunt, Barbara (Stuart) Hawkins; and many cousins and loving friends that became like family to her.
Following cremation services at F. C. Daehler Mortuary, friends, family, and the community are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life. Date, time, and location will be announced by the family via social media.
