Vicki Bloomfield, 69, of West Portsmouth, died Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. She was born April 24, 1955, in Portsmouth to the late Bill and Marcella Rexroad Coleman.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Steve Coleman, a brother-in-law Jack Bloomfield, nephew Lee Bloomfield and niece, Tammy Potter.
Vick was a Teacher’s Aide, a full-time Mammee, a Plunder designer, a baker who proudly delivered her goodies in the “Carb Cart,” and a pastor. She was also a Mammee to all the youth. She was a member of the West Portsmouth Community of Christ, where she was very involved. Vick’s favorite saying was “Let Your Light Shine,” which she did every day.
Vick is survived by her husband Joe Bloomfield, whom she married on December 2, 1984, a son Alex (Kayla) Bloomfield, 2 daughters; Jessica (Trevor) Lincecum and Jennifer Bloomfield, 3 brothers; Perry (Karen) Coleman, Scott (Kim) Coleman and Jeff (Heather) Coleman, grandchildren; Clay, Odie Willis and Matilda Bloomfield, sister-in-laws; Donna Bloomfield and Karla Coleman, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, June 14, 2024, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth, with her son Alex Bloomfield officiating and interment in Scioto Burial Park.
