Victoria Jane “Vicky” Beckett, 61, of Wheelersburg, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at SOMC Hospice Center. She was born December 11, 1964, in Portsmouth, a daughter of Elizabeth (Martin) Artis and the late Chester Artis, Jr.
Vicky found great joy riding motorcycles alongside her beloved husband and expressing her creativity through crafts. She held a special love for the magic of Christmas and the beauty of hummingbirds. Nothing meant more to her than time spent with family, where she delighted in every visit and cherished each moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Besides her mother, Vicky is survived by her husband, Mark Beckett; a daughter, Shannon (Bobby) Hubbard of West Portsmouth; a brother, Mike (Alexandra) Artis of Wheelersburg; a sister, Dee Gill of Mesa, AZ; 2 grandchildren, Lexie (Martin) Ruggles and Alex (Mikina) Hubbard; 3 great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Maddie, River Ruggles and one on the way, Paisley Hubbard; nephews, Josh (Megan) Artis and Jeremy Johnson; a niece Sarah Johnson and a great nephew, Rowan Artis.
A graveside service will be held at a later date under the direction of the D.W. SWICK & SON FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES of Wheelersburg.
In lieu of flowers donations in remembrance of Vicky may be made to SOMC Hospice Center.
