Violent Murder Rocks Small Hilltop Side Street

The body of Timothy Perkins, 20, was found after he was shot and killed Friday night.

The murder took place at 2222 Eck Court, a small street located near SOMC Hospice off Edgewood Drive.

This location has been the subject of several reports of suspicious activity, SCDN’s sources tell us. Sources also believe that the murder could have been revenge for another shooting that occurred recently.

It was reported that Perkins had been shot multiple times. This is a common sign that the shooter is feeling high emotions. Whether shots were fired by one gun or if there were multiple shooters is not known.

This incident is currently being investigated as a homicide by the Portsmouth Police Department. Also involved is the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI).

Perkins has been transported to the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
