Virgie Alice (Jenkins) Borden, 78, of St. Rt. 220, Waverly, Ohio, passed 2:40 a.m. Monday, September 27, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Virgie was born January 27, 1943, in Salyersville, Kentucky, the daughter of late Noah Jenkins and Cloyettie (Howard) Jenkins. On November 28, 1960, she was united in marriage to Larry Albert Borden Sr. who preceded her in death on October 21, 2013.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Lynn Cornette and Christina (Brian) Carter, daughter-in-law, Pat Borden, five grandchildren, Zachariah (Heather) Cornette, Noah Luke (Jessica) Borden, Brittany (Scott) Tackett, April Dawn (Brent) Frazie and Colton Carter and twelve great-grandchildren, Trinity Tackett, Tori Tackett, Devan Osborne, Ayden Ford, Bryson Ford, Kameron Cornette, Scotty Tackett, Kingston Frazie, Liam Borden, Krystlin Cornette, Quinn Cornette and Waylon Frazie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Larry A. Borden Jr, and son-in-law, William Cornette.
Virgie was a homemaker. She loved visiting the Riverside Restaurant, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021, at the Jenkins Family Cemetery, Millstone Road, Beaver, Ohio,
