A Walnut Street woman called 9-1-1 when representatives from a rent-to-own company showed up to repossess her furniture.
She told the folks who came to take back her stuff to get off the property and threatened to put a dog in front of her door to bite people in order to prevent anyone from coming to her door.
Officers on the scene described her as “very argumentative.” PPD advised her not to call 9-1-1 for civil matters and told the rent-to-own company to take the woman to court to get their money or their furniture.
Dog Doo Deployed in Grandview Avenue Dispute
A Grandview Avenue man told police a dispute with his neighbor took a decidedly crappy turn just after 5 pm.
The man said he found an entire bag of dog doo on his wife’s car. He said he’s been having a dispute with a neighbor down the block and was sure his neighbor was the person responsible for the poo.
However, he didn’t see the incident and it wasn’t caught on any security cameras. Officers advised him to call them if anything else happens.
