Wanted Man Flees Rehab Center
Portsmouth Police headed to an area rehab center in search of a parolee wanted on a nationwide warrant.
Due to HIPPA regulations, staff were unable to speak to officers about the patient. However, the man decided to run out the back door while officers were there, and they intercepted him. Officers served the warrant and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
Man With Machete Reported at People’s Bank
Just after 2 pm, a caller reported a shirtless man in shorts walking around near People’s Bank Main Branch with a machete.
Officers were unable to locate the man.
Tracy Park P***ers Return
Once again, officers were called to Tracy Park for a report of someone urinating in full view of other park-goers.
This time the caller said a group of men were on the stage yelling and drinking. The caller said one of the men decided to take a leak off the stage.
Officers advised the group to leave the park.
