At 9 am, a Sherborne Road resident spotted a strange man sleeping in his vehicle. When officers arrived on the scene, they learned the man in the vehicle had an open warrant. Deputies took the man into custody for probation violation and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.

At 6 pm, a homeless man showed up in the lobby of the Scioto County Jail and refused to leave. Witnesses reported that he was talking out of his head. Deputies escorted the man out of the lobby.

At 1 am, a caller reported a man acting strangely in a field next to a 7th Street house. They said he appeared to be attempting to burn a car.

When officers arrived, they learned the man had stayed at the address in the past, but his aunt no longer wanted him there. Police advised him to leave and not return.
