We told you over the weekend that the State of Ohio wanted to find Patricia Barrett, whose last known address was in Portsmouth, for failing to register as a sex offender. Barret was convicted for disseminating matter to juveniles back in 2009.
Officers responding to a report of a suspicious person at 11th and Washinton Street discovered Barrett and confirmed that she had an open warrant for failing to register.
She had garbage bags full of old clothing with her on the sidewalk, but officers arranged for a relative to pick them up.
Barrett was arrested for criminal trespass back in June and for parole violation in March of 2022. Previous arrests include unlawful sexual acts with a minor, disseminating matter harmful to a child, importuning, drug possession, multiple counts of parole violation, failure to appear, and criminal trespass.
