A report of people inside a condemned house led to the arrest of a wanted woman.
A Gallia Street neighbor called police at 10:35 am to report someone inside a condemned home in the 5900 block.
Officers discovered a woman with an open warrant for criminal trespassing and took her into custody. She was first arrested on the charge back on July 16.
Officers booked her and then immediately released her per the court.
Homeless Vet Makes Call For Help
A desperate homeless vet called for an EMS squad just after 7 pm. He said he was a Veteran and wanted to be transported to the VA Hospital.
When dispatch advised that they could not do that, the man said he was homeless and suicidal. He was told EMS could transport him to Portsmouth for treatment.
