Weekend Tragedies In Portsmouth

It was a very sad weekend for multiple local families.  Thursday afternoon, a call came in from the Portsmouth Senior Lofts that a resident might be deceased.

Medics arrived on the scene and confirmed the resident had indeed passed away. Officers notified a local funeral home which took the deceased into their care. Officers took information for a report.

Just a few hours later, a man went to check on his brother and discovered him deceased inside his Portsmouth home.  Officers contacted the man’s doctor and Coroner’s office to say that nothing suggested foul play.

The Coroner’s office released the deceased to their family, and a local funeral home took him into their care.
