Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies Joined in a wild police chase Sunday night. A driver crashed into a wall near the 823 Exit on US 52. The driver attempted to take off but was actually driving on the wall.
OSP Troopers asked Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies to try to get in front of the driver as she sped west into New Boston.
PPD, NBPD, and OSP set up spikes near the filtration plant. The female driver hit the wall multiple times and then ran a red light near Walmart.
However, her tires were damaged and began to go flat, causing her to slow down. She hit two parked vehicles before OSP units managed to box her in at US 52 and Hill Road.
Once officers had the woman in custody, they determined she was having a medical issue, so no arrests were made.
