Wilma Jean Hodge Cooper, 80, of McDermott, Ohio passed away Sunday, February 11, 2024, at her home. She was born February 28, 1943 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late Rev Albert Hodge and Alice Marie Nease.
Surviving are her children, Pamela Whissen of McDermott, Timothy (Pamela) Lewis of Sciotoville, Ohio, Jimmy (Susan) Lewis of Lucasville, Ohio, Betty (James) Campbell of McDermott, Franklin Lewis of Lucasville and Melissa (David Sargent) Lewis of McDermott; grandchildren, Michael (Michelle) Odel of Washington Court House, Greg Odel of McDermott, Rebecca (Terry) Stewart of South Shore, Kentucky, Jeff Boggs of Sciotoville, Jeremy Boggs of Sciotoville, Joey Lewis of Charlotte, South Carolina, Beth (Wayne) Howard of McDermott, James (Kellie) Campbell of McDermott, Sandra (Brahim) Biskri of McDermott, Christian Lewis of Lucasville and Sabrina Sargent of McDermott; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; siblings; Alice (Rick) Windsor of Friendship, Allen Hodge of Bethel, Cathy Boltenhouse of New Holland and Barb Speer of Lucasville; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Fredrick Lewis; brothers, Willis Hodge, David Hodge, Whimpy Hodge, Richard Hodge, Rev. James Hodge, Howard Hodge, and Clarence Hodge; and sister, Wanda Windsor.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Donnie Euton and Tim Throckmorton officiating. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the funeral home.
