Witnesses called 911 around 4 pm to report a woman had assaulted a man in a wheelchair in Tracy Park. A caller said they had the whole incident on video.
A few minutes later, a second call came in about the incident. When officers arrived on the scene, the alleged victim said there was no altercation between him and the woman, and he wanted to be left alone. Police noted he was intoxicated but in the care of a sober person.
However, officers discovered there were open warrants for the woman.
Officers arrested Caroline McKinney on charges of failure to appear and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
Officers were called back to the park after a caller reported a woman had overdosed near the bathrooms. EMS transported the woman to SOMC for treatment.
