A local drug treatment facility contacted Portsmouth Police at 4:36 pm to report an apparently high woman was threatening the staff.
Officers took the woman into custody, and one accompanied the woman in an ambulance while the PFD transported her to SOMC for evaluation.
Suspicious Activity Reports
Officers responded to a report of some unusual activity involving fruit in Wayne Hills just after midnight. A caller said two men tossed a club at his vehicle on Wayne Avenue. Additionally, he said they threw pineapple on his windshield. Officers took information for a report.
Just after 3 am, a witness reported a man tweaking in the middle of the street on Walnut Street. However, the tweaker was nowhere to be found by the time officers arrived on the scene at 3:25 am.
At 7:22 am, several callers reported a man stumbling and falling down near the AutoZone on Gallia. Police took the man into custody.
Witnesses reported a suspicious man with a bat in his hand walking towards Speedway at 10:23 am. However, the man was not in the area by the time officers arrived on the scene.
