Woman Arrested After Overdose Report
A worried sister contacted officers at 1:30 pm to report that she feared her sister might want to harm herself. When officers responded to the address provided, no one answered the door.
The sister contacted the police an hour later to say she’d found her wandering in a cemetery. Officers searched the area but could not find the woman.
Around 5 pm, a call came in that the same woman had overdosed and was not breathing. Medics and police responded to the scene, and officers took the woman into custody for multiple open warrants.
Unresponsive Man Reported in Tracy Park
EMS and police responded to Tracy Park at 9 am after a report of an unresponsive man on the stage.
First responders were able to wake him up and advised him to stay off the stage. However, the man told officers he would return to the stage just as soon as they left.
Officers advised him they could arrest him for trespass if he continued the behavior.
Overdose Reported on 5th Street
Medics responded to a report of a man overdosing in the street on 5th Street just after 4 pm.
Medics from the Portsmouth transported the man to SOMC for treatment.
