There was trouble once again at the Speedway on Gallia Street. Just before 2 am, a witness reported a man in a red car beating a woman.
Officers responded to the scene and discovered there was an open warrant for a parole violation on the woman.
They took her into custody for parole violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. It was her 17th arrest and her 3rd arrest this year.
Two other folks who contacted police with a complaint also found themselves in trouble. They called the police to complain a man had stolen several items from them. However, it turned out they both had open warrants.
Officers took the woman into custody for a parole violation however, the man had multiple medical issues, and the jail would not accept him. He was transported to SOMC for treatment.
