Woman Assaulted During Lucasville Robbery
The father of a Lucasville woman contacted officers at 11:30 on Tuesday night to report a frightening incident.
He said a man broke into his daughter’s house while she and her child were home. The man slammed the woman’s head against a wall, cutting it open, and then left the in a truck.
When deputies responded to a scene, they requested a squad for the woman and cleared the house. An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital.
Officers collected evidence from the scene and headed to the hospital to interview the victim.
Missing John Deere Recovered on Grandview Avenue
A man contacted Portsmouth Police at 10 am to report he’d located his stolen John Deere Gator at a house on Grandview Avenue.
Officers accompanied him to the scene. Residents at the home said they had no idea how the gator got there and allowed the rightful owner to take back his property.
