Woman Charged With DUI, Drugs & Child Endangerment After Crash 

Police charged a 35-year-old woman with DUI and child endangerment after a crash on Richardson Road that injured a child early Saturday morning.  

The accident happened just after 3 am on Saturday. Police took Lisa Newman into custody on charges of endangering children, DUI, possession of drugs, aggravated vehicular assault, and failure to control a vehicle. 

One child was injured in the crash and taken to the hospital. CPS decided to take custody of that child as well as two other children belonging to the parents. The injured child was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus for treatment.  

Lisa Newman was booked into the Scioto County Jail $7500 bond. This was her 10th arrest. Previous charges include multiple counts of probation violation, drug possession, driving under a suspended license, and theft.
