Medical personnel from SOMC called PPD after a patient claimed she was inappropriately touched by an EMT. She said the assault happened while medics transported her from King’s Daughters Medical Center to SOMC.
Officers contacted the ambulance company and viewed the video of the transport. The officer said the footage did not support the claim that an EMT assaulted the woman.
Staff at the hospital told officers the woman’s claims could be related to mental health issues.
