Hospital personnel called the police and asked them to check on a woman who left the facility with an IV still in her arm.
Officers responded to the address the hospital provided, but there were no lights on and no answer at the door.
The woman in question had previously been arrested close to two dozen times on charges including probation violation, driving under the influence, disorderly conduct, violating a protection order, driving without a license, drug abuse, theft, and contempt of court.
Neighbors told police the man who lived there had just left, but they didn’t see a woman with him. Officers were unable to locate her.
