Woman Found Hiding in S***-filled Basement
Just before 3 pm, police responded to Mabert Road for a report of a man and a woman having a domestic incident. The caller said the woman was wielding a bat.
Another caller reported seeing the pair attempting to get into a basement. When officers investigated, they found the woman hiding in a basement filled with human and animal feces.
Man Spotted Slumped Over in Car on Linden Avenue
Officers responded to Linden Avenue at 8 am for a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle. The caller feared the man may have overdosed. Additionally, they said the man had a dog with him.
When police spoke to the man, he said he was homeless and sleeping in his vehicle. Police said he did not appear impaired and suggested finding another parking spot.
Police said the homeowner did not want to press charges.
