Woman Heads to Rehab After Assault at Valero Gas Station
Just before 5 pm, a woman contacted officers to report she was punched by a thief who took her purse behind the Valero Gas on Gallia.
Officers checked under the Young Street viaduct for suspects but did not locate anyone. The woman refused medical treatment for her injuries but did ask if it we possible to get into a rehab facility.
Counselors arrived on the scene and took the woman to a facility.
Man Arrested After Disturbance at Frank & Steins Lounge
Just before 2 am, PPD responded to a report of a disturbance behind Frank & Steins Lounge. When officers arrived at the scene, they took a man into custody.
About 40 minutes later, a witness reported a big fight on 7th Street. A second caller told police that they heard someone say something about a gun.
Police responded to the scene and took information for a report.
