Woman in a Purple Robe Refuses to Leave Kroger
Some people seem to really love Kroger. So much so that the store needs police officers to chase them out of the store.
Just before 8 am, Portsmouth Officers responded to a report of two women who’d been asked to leave Kroger but were refusing to comply.
Witnesses said they were wandering around the parking lot. When officers arrived on the scene fifteen minutes later, the women had left the scene. Police checked Tracy Park for the suspects but could not locate them.
An hour later, employees reported a woman in a purple robe in line at Starbucks. She’d been asked to leave the store and not return, but she kept coming back. Officers responded and served the woman with a barred notice.
Fifteen minutes later, officers caught up with the two women from the first call outside Frontier Communications on 7th Street. They admitted to being at the store earlier and causing a problem. Officers advised them they were not welcome at the store.
