Deputies responded to the new playground at Greenup Dam after a caller said a mom had apparently overdosed and left her kids unsupervised in the park.

The caller said the woman was unconscious in a van and that there were no other adults there with the children.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they sent for CPS to take charge of the children and took the woman into custody. Officers booked her into the Scioto County Jail.
