Woman Rolls SUV and Then Lies To Police

A woman who rolled an SUV was hoping that a local tow company would help her cover her tracks. She contacted them just after 2 am saying she’d flipped her SUV over on the West Side and wanted them to put hit right; however, she didn’t want them to contact the police.

The tow truck dispatcher told the woman she’d have to contact the police. The woman then contacted the Sheriff’s Office a few minutes later to claim she’d woken up and noticed her vehicle was stolen.

Officer noted the number that called them was the same number that called the tow truck company. When the officer spoke to the woman, she admitted to wrecking the car and calling for a tow.

Deputies contacted the Ohio State Patrol to handle the crash and gave the driver and a passenger a ride home.
