Woman Screams Bloody Murder at Big Lots
Just before 8 am, deputies responded to the Big Lots in Wheelersburg after a woman came into the store screaming that someone killed her son.
The caller said the woman wouldn’t say when or where it happened, but the woman seemed to have walked there from Ohio River Road.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they recognized the woman from previous encounters. The troubled woman said she had a friend that lived nearby and would go to the friend’s house.
Street Sign Thief Spotted on Junior Furnace-Powellsville Road
Deputies responded to Green Township after a resident of Junior Furnace-Powellsville Road spotted a man with a grinder attempting to steal street signs. The caller said she saw sparks flying, and one of the signs fell to the ground.
The woman yelled at the thief, and he ran off toward Franklin Furnace. Deputies found the damaged sign and searched the area for the man, but were unable to find him.
Cops Clear Kids From Hilltop Residence
Just after 8 am, a very irate caller asked officers to remove several juveniles from his Hilltop area home.
Police responded to the scene and said that all of the kids left the residence without incident once they arrived.
